The Role
Elders Inn is seeking an Early Morning Advanced Care Attendant to join our dedicated team.Responsibilities
- Help residents with personal hygiene, dressing, bathing, and other daily living tasks
- Aid residents with mobility and transfers
- Take and record vital signs
- Support residents in active and passive range of motion as outlined in the plan of care
- Respond promptly to resident needs while maintaining privacy and dignity
- Maintain awareness of resident activity and functional status
- Assist with apartment tidying to ensure safety and comfort
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- CNA level training (no license required) or 3 years experience in a heavy care environment
- Ability to work patiently with cognitively impaired individuals
- Ability to follow written and verbal instructions
- Basic computer skills (required for care programming)
- Ability to lift up to 150 pounds
Qualifications
- Current COVID-19 vaccination
- Routine COVID tests
- Physical examination
- TB test
- Fingerprint clearance from the FBI and Department of Justice
