Early Literacy Teacher

Valid MT teaching license with Elementary or Early Childhood (PK-3) endorsement required.

This position is a 1.0 full-time equivalent (fte).

Responsibilities

• Teach elementary or early childhood students in accordance with state standards.
• Plan and implement curriculum that meets educational goals.
• Assess student progress and provide feedback to parents and guardians.
• Collaborate with colleagues to support classroom activities and student learning.
• Maintain a safe and inclusive learning environment.

Requirements

• Current valid Montana teaching license with Elementary or Early Childhood (PK-3) endorsement.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Passing score on the Praxis II exam or equivalent certification.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in education or related field.
• Experience working with young children preferred.
