Early Learning Assistant Teacher

About the role

The Early Learning Assistant Teacher is responsible for providing support in a childcare setting, assisting teachers with daily activities, and ensuring the safety and well-being of children.

Responsibilities

• Support teachers in planning and implementing educational activities
• Assist with daily care routines such as feeding, diapering, and hygiene
• Maintain a safe and nurturing environment for children
• Communicate regularly with parents about their child’s progress

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Early Childhood Education or related field
• At least one year of relevant experience in early childhood education
• Valid first aid and CPR certification
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

Qualifications

• Strong commitment to early childhood development
• Ability to work flexible hours including evenings and weekends
• Pass a background check and health screening
