Early Interventionist Specialist

About The Role

Pediatric Therapy of Aiken – A+Kids is seeking a dedicated Early Intervention Specialist to serve children and families throughout Aiken County. This role focuses on supporting children from birth to age 6 by promoting developmental growth through individualized, evidence-based intervention strategies. Key Responsibilities

• Conduct developmental assessments and ongoing evaluations
• Develop and implement individualized intervention plans
• Provide family-centered early intervention services in natural environments
• Collaborate with families, caregivers, and interdisciplinary team members
• Document progress, outcomes, and service plans in a timely manner
• Maintain compliance with state and program requirements

Required Qualifications (Must Have)

• ✔ Bachelor’s degree (4-year degree REQUIRED) in one of the following or a closely related field: Child Development, Human Development, Early Childhood, Elementary, Special Education, Psychology, Sociology, Social Work, or other related degrees may be considered with approval
• Valid Driver’s License and reliable transportation
• Ability to commute to or relocate to Aiken, SC prior to start date

Preferred Qualifications

• 1+ year of experience in early intervention, behavioral health, pediatrics, or related field
• Experience working with children and families in a home or community-based setting
