Early Intervention Specialist/Service Coordinator

About the role

Community Action Corporation of South Texas (CACOST) seeks an individual with a minimum of two (2) years pediatric experience, with three (3) or more years preferred. The ideal candidate should hold a Bachelor's Degree with at least 18 hours of course credit relevant to early childhood intervention and three hours of semester course credit in early childhood development or early childhood special education.

Responsibilities

  • Manage and coordinate case management services for children and families in need.
  • Ensure compliance with all regulatory requirements and maintain accurate records.
  • Provide support and guidance to clients and their families, including but not limited to, accessing resources and navigating the healthcare system.
  • Collaborate with other professionals to develop and implement Individual Family Service Plans (IFSP).
  • Perform light to medium physical duties such as standing, walking, reaching, bending, hearing, talking, kneeling, floor sitting, pulling, reaching, grasping, pushing, stooping, standing, sitting, climbing, occasional running, and lifting up to thirty-five (35) pounds.
  • Work in various environments including temperature, humidity, cleanliness, and around other elements.

Requirements

  • A valid driver's license, safe driving record, and auto liability insurance.
  • Authorization for a criminal history background check.
  • Pass a pre-employment physical exam.

Qualifications

  • Proficiency in computer and Microsoft Office programs.

Skills

  • Case Management experience preferred.
