Clayton Early Learning coordinates disability services for children ages 0–3, overseeing assessment, referral services, and Individualized Family Services Plan (IFSP) implementation. The role serves as a liaison for internal and external stakeholders on IFSP or other developmental providers and ensures compliance with all Early Head Start requirements.
Responsibilities
- Interacts with referral specialists and families to obtain IFSP documentation, review student needs, and collaborate with internal stakeholders to implement the plan.
- Supports internal stakeholders to implement IFSP goals, ensuring the classroom environment is set up for student success; provides strategies for working with students who have IFSPs.
- Educates parents and families on IFSP, including their rights and responsibilities, and assists with arranging additional services or community resources as needed.
- Monitors IFSP goals, meets with stakeholders to discuss progress and recommendations, and reviews transition plans; ensures work plans are updated annually or as needed.
- Completes and maintains all required documentation (student files, IFSP forms, reports, logs, service information) and enters data into relevant systems to meet compliance and regulatory requirements.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in early childhood education, Psychology, Social Services, or related field (Master’s preferred).
- 3 years of early childhood education experience with a focus on working with children with disabilities.
- Must pass a comprehensive background check (CBI/FBI fingerprinting, child abuse/neglect state registry, MVR, and national sex offender registry check every 5 years).
- Valid driver’s license with active vehicle insurance; pediatric first aid and CPR certification.
- Current PPD-TB testing, standard immunizations, and annual health statement (or willingness to obtain).
- Participation in training programs, workshops, and meetings related to the role.
- Strong technology proficiency and adaptability to new systems, applications, and digital solutions.

Pay
$65,000–$70,000 annually.
Schedule & Physical Requirements
- Ability to work flexible hours outside of normal business hours as required.
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds, with or without reasonable accommodation.
- Ability to sit, stand, walk, and move throughout the workday (with reasonable accommodation).
- Ability to travel to home visits as needed.
