Responsibilities

• Develop fun, interactive learning experiences while mentoring fellow teachers.
• Promote the social, physical, and intellectual growth of the preschool children in your class.
• Take the lead on classroom management and curriculum implementation, and be an expert on all licensing guidelines, company standards, and Head Start program requirements.
• Build sincere relationships with enrolled and prospective families to support child achievement and center success.
• Plan, assess, and instruct based on the needs of each child and the requirements of the Early Head Start program.

Requirements

• At least 18 years of age.
• Associate’s Degree or higher in Early Childhood Education, or CDA in Infant/Toddler.
• Experience leading a classroom and creating educational lesson plans.
• Ability to meet state requirements for education and childcare center requirements.
• Ability to work indoors or outdoors and engage in physical activity with children.
• Energetic, dependable, and passionate.
