Responsibilities

• Supporting parent/child relationships with at-risk pregnant women, infants, and toddlers and their families
• Through developmental parenting and family well-being
• Long-term, intensive, comprehensive home-based support
• Promoting attachment, meeting individualized family and child goals
• Encouraging school readiness
• Reflecting with families in the process to reduce the incidence of child abuse and neglect

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree or higher in areas of Early Childhood Education, Child Development, Special Education, or closely related field
• 2-year minimum experience working with early childhood, special education, or direct work with families
• Infant Family Specialist Level II with MI-AIMH preferred; or ability to obtain endorsement
• Have and maintain a valid Michigan driver's license and safe driving record

Compensation & Benefits

• The wage range for this position is $19.89 - $28.05 per hour, depending on education and experience.
• This is a full-time, year-round position with the ISD and is eligible for benefits.
• The schedule is 40 hours per week, working 8 hours per day, Monday through Friday.
