Job Responsibilities
- Accept the philosophy of Cadence Education and work as part of the teaching team to encourage a positive learning environment for all students within the center.
- Develop lesson plans that provide everything needed to build a strong foundation for students.
- Provide social interaction and developmentally appropriate skill-based activities to help students thrive this year and well into the future.
- Encourage and model positive social behavior and expectations.
- Maintain a clean, safe academically appropriate environment that provides a space for students to excel.
- Adhere to enhanced safety measures.
- Communicate regularly with parents.
- Collaborate with other passionate teachers and leaders to implement an engaging, challenging and yet, developmentally appropriate curriculum.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree required, Masters degree preferred.
- High level of flexibility and willingness to adapt to change.
- Ability to adhere to a consistent 5 day a week schedule.
- Demonstrated professionalism and classroom management skills.
- Previous experience as an Elementary teacher preferred.
