About the role

Heartworks Early Education is seeking an Early Education Teacher Associate to join our Preschool Program in South Burlington, VT. We are dedicated to providing a nurturing and educational environment for young children.

Responsibilities

• Plan and implement developmentally appropriate curriculum for preschoolers
• Provide individualized attention to each child’s learning needs
• Collaborate with other educators to support classroom activities and projects
• Maintain a safe and healthy classroom environment
• Communicate regularly with parents about their child's progress and classroom activities

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Early Childhood Education or related field
• Valid Vermont teaching license or ability to obtain one within 6 months
• Experience working with children aged 2-5 years old
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work flexible hours including mornings, afternoons, and weekends

Qualifications

• Pass a background check
• Pass a state-mandated health clearance

• Ability to manage a classroom effectively
