About the role
Provide leadership, supervision, and coordination of quality, strengths-based, youth-centered education around mental health, wellness, and substance use disorder prevention to youth, professionals, and the community. Services are delivered in various community settings.
Positive outcomes are achieved through purposeful and respectful relationships rooted in trauma-informed care, hope, and evidence-based research. An openness to embrace and explore bias, equity issues, successes, and challenges from a place of understanding and curiosity is essential for success and development in this position and organization.
Responsibilities
- Supervision of staff
- Reporting, outreach, and group facilitation
- Program development and evaluation
Requirements
- Master’s Degree in Social Work or similar field
- Full State License (LMSW, LC, etc.)
- MI-AIMH certification or willingness/ability to actively pursue it
- Proven experience working with young children and parents
- Prior supervision experience
- Experience providing and/or supporting community-based work
- Valid driver’s license, current auto insurance, and clean driving record
