Early Childhood Teacher Long Term Substitute

About the role

A 1.0 FTE Long-term Substitute Early Childhood teacher position for Roosevelt Early Learning Center.

Responsibilities

• Offer a developmentally appropriate learning environment
• Focus on cognitive, social/emotional, language, literacy, and physical/motor development of students
• Work with classroom paraprofessionals to create a warm welcoming environment for parents and children
• Teach 5 days a week from 7:30 AM-3:30 PM

Requirements

• Early Childhood Education License required
• Ability to work with young children in a team setting required
• 2+ years experience preferred
• Experience working with a diverse population and special needs helpful
• Must be able to lift up to 35lbs

Qualifications

• Licensure necessary for position: State of Minnesota Early Childhood License
