About the role
Zoot Adventure Learning Academy is seeking a full-time Early Childhood Teacher to join our team in Bozeman, MT. The Early Childhood Teacher collaborates with the Early Childhood Lead Teacher to plan, create, and implement a program that meets children's educational, developmental, cognitive, emotional, and social needs.
Responsibilities
- Collaborate with the Early Childhood Lead Teacher to plan, create, and implement a program that meets children's educational, developmental, cognitive, emotional, and social needs.
- Assist in the implementation of the program in accordance with the policy and philosophy of the center.
- Respond to the children with dignity and respect.
- Help children become aware of their roles as integral members of a group.
- Help with general housekeeping tasks.
- Maintain a classroom environment in accordance to program goals and philosophy.
- Maintain a safe and healthy environment per program goals and state regulations.
- Inspect and replace damaged or lost materials.
- Achieve a service-focused culture with emphasis on delivering on-time, high-quality products and services to internal and external customers.
Requirements
- High School Diploma, Preferred
- Certifications: Adult/Infant First Aid/AED/CPR Certification or ability to obtain within 30 days of hire.
- Valid State of Montana Driver License with clean driving record.
- Current Immunizations: Tetanus (within the past 10 years), MMR (measles/mumps/rubella).
- Level 1 or higher on MT Practitioner Registry
- Previous childcare experience with ages 6 weeks – 6 years old preferred.
- Excellent oral and written language skills to communicate with children and adults.
- Ability to successfully pass state regulated background screening including criminal record, Child & Adult Protective Services, FBI fingerprinting, motor vehicle records, and sign a health attestation.
- Willing to complete 16 hours of annual, approved training.

Pay
$500 Sign On Bonus
Schedule
This position will be scheduled for 40 hours per week Monday - Friday.
