Responsibilities
- Provide personalized care and age-appropriate interactions with children, recognizing their unique talents, interests, and backgrounds.
- Model exemplary caregiving practices for fellow staff, volunteers, and families.
- Address the basic needs of children, including diapering, feeding, napping, and daily routines.
- Collaborate with colleagues to ensure quality indoor and outdoor learning experiences, including food and nutrition activities.
- Develop and implement tailored weekly lesson plans based on assessments and observations.
- Utilize various assessments to inform activity planning and goal-setting, sharing outcomes with families.
- Implement social-emotional development strategies and behavior interventions, collaborating closely with case managers, parents, and organizational leaders.
- Collaborate with therapists for children with developmental delays, supporting skill development.
- Complete required data entry and maintain necessary documentation.
- Conduct home visits, parent-teacher conferences, and create child progress reports.
- Uphold Vogel's cultural fundamentals and mission statement, respecting client confidentiality.
Requirements
- Effective communication skills, both verbal and written.

- Superior interpersonal skills, tactful, mature, and flexible.
- Knowledge of early childhood education best practices and regulations.
- A commitment to continuous professional development and learning.
- A bachelor's degree in Early Childhood or related field preferred.
- CDA certification required.
- 3-5 years of classroom experience preferred (not required with Bachelor's/Associate's in Early Childhood).
- First Aid and CPR certification (or willingness to obtain).

Pay
This is a full-time salaried position with a salary range of $35,000 - $60,000 per year based on education and experience.
