About This Role

This Early Childhood Teacher position at Little ViP Preschool and Childcare in Wind Lake, WI offers $13 – $18/Hr. Candidates should bring relevant professional experience and a reliable work ethic in a childcare facility environment.

We are seeking a dedicated and empathetic Early Childhood teacher to join our team and create a nurturing environment for our young learners.

What You'll Do

• Develop and implement educational curriculum by designing engaging classroom activities based on developmentally appropriate practices and early learning standards.
• Encourage teaching team success through modeling and coaching, and plan individual and group activities to actively engage children and promote social, cognitive, and emotional growth.
• Maintain open and frequent communication with parents through informal discussions, progress reports, and parent-teacher conferences.
• Ensure the classroom environment meets all center policies and state regulations, including maintaining proper hygiene, cleanliness, and safety and security standards.
• Coordinate and implement educational curriculum by developing classroom activities based on developmentally appropriate practices and early learning standards.
• Ensure a healthy classroom environment - including maintaining appropriate hygiene and cleanliness standards and safety and security of children.
• Lead by example and plan individual and group age-appropriate activities to actively engage children and encourage social, cognitive, and emotional growth.

Requirements

• High energy and the ability to work well with others (staff, children, and parents) and to foster a team environment.
• Strong oral and written communication skills and basic computer skills.
• Minimum of 1 years of professional child care experience.
• Must clear full background check and must pass health screening.
• Infant/child CPR and First Aid certification. Will train
• Associate's Degree in early childhood education or related field of study with a minimum of 30 credits in ECE or State mandated non-credit course certificates for lead teacher position.
• Requirements include the ability to take frequent walks, use hands and fingers, handle objects, tools.
• A strong understanding of child development.
• Must clear full background check and must pass health screening.
