What You'll Do

• Develop and implement engaging educational activities that align with early learning standards and promote social, cognitive, and emotional growth in children.
• Lead by example and coach your team to success, modeling best practices and providing guidance to ensure the highest quality care.
• Design and implement individual and group activities that cater to the diverse needs and interests of children, fostering a love for learning and exploration.
• Maintain open communication with parents through regular updates, progress reports, and collaborative planning.
• Ensure compliance with all center policies, state regulations, and safety standards to create a secure and healthy environment for children.
• Supervise and mentor teacher assistants and volunteers, promoting a culture of teamwork and quality care.
• Manage and maintain accurate records, files, and databases, ensuring seamless communication and administrative efficiency.
• Pursue ongoing professional development and growth opportunities to stay current with best practices and industry developments.

Requirements

• Meets/exceeds licensing requirements including:
• Health Screening
• Background Check
• TB Test
• Physical ability to perform the required job duties with or without accommodations
• A high school diploma or equivalent
• Excellent leadership, organizational, and interpersonal skills.
• A strong understanding of child development.
• A passion for working with children
• A positive, reliable work ethic

Nice to Have

• Current Medication Administration Training (MAT)
• Hold CDA or other associate's degree or higher
• Current First Aid/CPR Certification
• Experience in early childhood education or related field
