About This Role

Fairview Child Development in Greer, SC is seeking a qualified Early Childhood - Teacher Assistant/Baby Room to work with Infant / Toddler (0–2) in a family child care environment. This position requires no formal credential — just relevant experience.

Responsibilities

• Assists staff in implementing a quality educational program
• Develops positive relationships with the children and their parents
• Observes and documents children's interests and progress
• Relays this information to parents and staff
• Implements developmentally appropriate activities based on children's needs and interests
• Maintains classroom materials, cleanliness, and availability
• Engages in activities
• Maintains regular communication with parents through informal discussions and progress reports
• Models good hygiene and self-help skills
• Facilitates a smooth transition from home to child care center on a daily basis
• Complies with all center policies and state regulations
• Pursues ongoing professional development

Requirements

• High School Diploma
• Show high energy levels
• Work well with others
• Be available to work Monday through Friday only
• Commit to a full-time schedule of 40 hours per week
• Possess strong oral and written communication skills as well as basic computer skills
• Understand child development
• Demonstrate excellent leadership, organizational, and interpersonal skills
• Possess Infant/child CPR and First Aid certification
• Clear a full background check and pass a health screening
