Responsibilities
- Provide Early Childhood Special Education services to children from birth through age 3 in home, childcare, and ECFE settings.
- Conduct developmental assessments and help identify individual learning and support needs.
- Develop, implement, and monitor Individualized Family Service Plans (IFSPs) and Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) as appropriate.
- Collaborate closely with families, caregivers, childcare providers, and multidisciplinary team members.
- Deliver developmentally appropriate interventions that support communication, social-emotional, cognitive, adaptive, and motor skill development.
- Maintain accurate documentation, progress monitoring, and compliance records.
- Participate in team meetings, evaluations, and family-centered planning sessions.
- Support successful transitions between early intervention and school-based services when needed.
Qualifications
- Valid Minnesota Early Childhood Special Education Teaching License or eligibility for Minnesota licensure.
- Experience working with infants, toddlers, and preschool-aged children preferred.
- Knowledge of child development, early intervention practices, and special education regulations.
- Experience developing and implementing IFSPs and/or IEPs preferred.
- Strong communication, collaboration, and organizational skills.
- Commitment to providing family-centered services and individualized support.
