Early Childhood Soccer Instructor

About the role

Soccer Shots is seeking energetic and passionate youth soccer instructors to work with children aged 2 to 10. This is a part-time position available year-round.

Responsibilities

• Work with children aged 2 to 10 in daycare centers, preschools, and community centers.
• Coach sessions Monday through Sunday across four seasons: Fall, Winter, Spring, and Summer.
• Ensure punctuality and manage groups of up to 10 children.
• Communicate effectively with the Soccer Shots director of coaching.
• Be professional, neat, friendly, and courteous with staff and parents.
• Enjoy and be able to interact with young children, connecting with them on their level and making the Soccer Shots class the highlight of their week.
• Have soccer experience or familiarity with the game.
• Own and have daily access to a computer, printer, and internet.
• Be available on Saturdays and Sundays between 8:30am - 12:00pm.

Requirements

• Responsible: Arrive on time, manage groups, keep accurate attendance, communicate with the director.
• Professional: Maintain neat appearance, be friendly and courteous, be self-assured.
• Enthusiastic: Enjoy working with children, be outgoing and animated, be able to connect with them on their level.
• Soccer experience or familiarity with the game.
• Own and have daily access to a computer, printer, and internet.
• Valid driver's license and car insurance.
