About the role
Assists with duties assigned by classroom teacher to enhance the learning of children ages 3 years to 5 years.
Responsibilities
- Supports classroom activities and routines
- Encourages children's social and emotional development
- Participates in planning and implementing age-appropriate educational activities
- Observes and documents children's progress
- Communicates regularly with teachers and parents
Requirements
- Tier i: High School Diploma
- Tier II: 60 college credit hours
Qualifications
- Experience working with young children preferred
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Strong communication skills
- Passing background check required
Skills
- Knowledge of child development theories
- Ability to follow safety protocols
- Basic computer skills
