This position is within the Early Childhood Education department at the Aurora location.

Responsibilities

• Support early childhood education programs and activities
• Assist lead teachers with classroom instruction and student supervision
• Maintain a safe and positive learning environment for young children
• Collaborate with teaching staff to implement lesson plans and educational activities

Requirements

• Experience working with young children in an educational setting
• Ability to follow established curriculum and behavioral guidelines
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Must be able to work the full school year schedule

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required
• Early childhood education coursework or certification preferred
• Previous paraprofessional or teaching assistant experience valued

Pay

Grade ESP05 compensation structure applies.

Schedule

This is a 7.5-hour per day position working 177 days per academic year. Tentative start date is September 11, 2026.
