About This Role
The Shiny Penny Child Care Center in Chattanooga, TN is seeking a qualified Early Childhood -Infant teacher to work with Infant / Toddler (0–2) in a center-based environment. This position requires no formal credential — just relevant experience.
What You'll Do
- Caring for babies' basic needs, such as diapering, feeding, etc.
- Interacting with babies with developmentally appropriate activities, play, and showing them love.
- Recording babies' daily actions.
- Maintaining a safe, clean, sanitary, nursery.
- Communicating with staff and families.
Requirements
- Minimum age: 18 yrs.
- Proof of High School completion
- Dependability and a strong work ethic.
- Experience with babies.
- Must clear full background check and must pass health screening.
- Strong oral and written communication skills, basic computer skills.
- A strong understanding of child development.
- Infant/child CPR and First Aid certification or willingness to obtain through provided training.
- A specific vision ability will be required including the ability to see up close and up to a certain distance, to see colors, have peripheral vision and depth perception.
- Excellent organizational, and interpersonal skills.
- Provide verifiable references.
- Non-smoker
