About the Role
The Early Childhood Educator leads and shares responsibility with parents for planning, organizing, and implementing the care, development, and education of typically and atypically developing children (birth to 5) and pregnant women with a caseload of up to 12 families. This role involves implementing a quality early education home-based curriculum and promoting children’s progress across the standards described in the Head Start Early Learning Outcomes Framework.
Responsibilities
- Plan, organize, and deliver care, development, and education for children (birth to 5) and pregnant women.
- Implement a home-based early education curriculum aligned with the Head Start Early Learning Outcomes Framework.
- Promote children’s progress across developmental and educational standards.
- Develop and maintain positive relationships with children, parents, and families.
Requirements
- Must attach transcripts and a Child Development Permit to be considered for the role.
