Responsibilities
- Facilitate dynamic life-skills workshops focusing on communication, concentration, feedback reception, and other essential life skills.
- Provide one-on-one and small-group coaching using Coachbot analytics, motivation frameworks, and meaningful relationships to ensure students advance toward challenging weekly learning targets.
- Evaluate life-skill proficiency using Alpha's Test2Pass system and guide students to genuine mastery.
- Modify coaching approaches based on students' developmental stages, incorporating songs, physical activity, and narratives for younger students and emphasizing greater autonomy and responsibility for older learners.
- Cultivate relationships where students feel secure to push beyond their perceived limitations.
Requirements
- Willing to work on-site at one of Alpha's campuses.
- Bachelor's degree in any field.
- A minimum of 3 years of direct experience working with children ages 4-9 in teaching, coaching, tutoring, camps, youth programs, or comparable settings.
- Demonstrated success in motivating young children to reach demanding goals, with concrete examples of your influence.
- Capacity to leverage AI-powered learning technology while concentrating on coaching, motivation, and life-skill cultivation.
- Ability to combine warmth with consistent high expectations.
- Legal authorization to work in the United States without requiring visa sponsorship.
Nice-to-have Requirements
- Background in youth athletics, children's theater, camp leadership, Montessori, progressive education, or highly interactive after-school programs.
- Personal history of reaching ambitious objectives in academics, sports, or professional life.
- Exceptional storytelling or performance abilities that naturally engage young children.
- Track record of transforming hesitant or reserved children into confident, active participants.
