Early Childhood Education Instructional Coach

About the role

This position requires in-person work in an early education/preschool child care center to provide center supervision, curriculum delivery, business management, and customer and client services. Duties include office/computer/phone-based work, in-person supervision of care delivery and employees, family interactions, and temporarily serving as a supervising caregiver for brief periods (e.g., covering employee breaks or unscheduled absences).

Responsibilities

• Lead a team to implement high-quality, developmentally appropriate curriculum aligned with our philosophy and anti-bias education
• Act as a curriculum expert and use educational quality tools to assess and enhance program implementation
• Partner and communicate effectively with families
• Mentor new teachers and serve as a role model for the teaching team

Requirements

• Candidates must pass required state and company background checks
• Meet state and company minimum education and experience requirements
• CDA with an educational plan to complete an associate degree is required
• 12 ECE units completed, including:
  • Child Development
  • Child Family Community
  • 2 curriculum courses (Infant/Toddler class required if applying for an Infant or Toddler position)
• Transcripts will be required at time of hire.
• At least three years of professional experience teaching in high-quality child care, daycare, or preschool settings
• Compliance with all applicable federal, state, local, and Bright Horizons’ requirements concerning immunizations, employment physical/screening, and health and safety training

Qualifications

• Associate or higher degree in early childhood education or child development related field (preferred)
• Experience working in a NAEYC-accredited center (preferred)

Pay

The annual salary for this position is between $70,500 - $88,125. The pay range depends on factors including experience, education, training, certifications, geography, and other relevant business or organizational factors.
