Early Childhood Education Assistant Teacher - Skip-A-Long Milan

About the role

Early Childhood Education Assistant Teacher at Skip-a-Long Childhood Centers, part of SAL Community Services, provides a safe, secure, and supportive environment for children aged 6 weeks to 5 years. The position supports the Teacher in developing a quality learning environment that engages children in learning through play.

Responsibilities

• Supports the Teacher in implementing curriculum and maintaining a positive, inclusive, and safe classroom environment.
• Designs and implements lesson plans based on individual children’s interests and needs.
• Maintains safety practices to minimize risks of accidents and injuries.
• Collaborates with families to support each child’s development.
• Engages in continuous professional growth and development.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years old or older with a High School Diploma or equivalency certificate (GED).
• Meet the requirements established by the regulatory agency for the state in which employed.
• Experience working with children is preferred.

Benefits

The salary range for this position is $17.68 - $19.73 per hour, contingent on education level and Illinois Gateways to Opportunity Credential attainment. Pay Range

$17.68 - $19.73 per hour.
