Early Childhood Classroom Paraprofessional 26-CE-02 (Four Positions Anticipated)

About the role

The Early Childhood/Early Childhood Support position at Farmington Early Childhood Center is available starting August 18, 2026. The position will remain open until filled.

Responsibilities

• Support classroom teachers in implementing curriculum and educational activities
• Assist in managing classroom behavior and maintaining a safe learning environment
• Participate in parent-teacher conferences and other meetings as needed
• Provide additional support to students as directed by teachers

Requirements

• A high school diploma or equivalent
• Experience working with children in an early childhood setting
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team

Qualifications

• Valid CPR and First Aid certification
• Background check required

Skills

• Excellent organizational and time management skills
• Ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously
• Knowledge of child development and educational theories

Pay

Salary range for this position is $18.00 - $22.00 per hour, based on experience and qualifications.

Schedule

The schedule for this position is Monday through Friday, 7:30 AM - 3:30 PM.
