Early Childhood Aides

About the role

We are seeking kind, compassionate, and highly organized individuals to serve as Early Childhood Aides. In this role, you will be the "right hand" to our lead teachers, ensuring that our youngest learners have the support they need to thrive in a safe and joyful classroom setting.

Key Responsibilities

• Instructional Support: Assist the lead teacher in implementing daily lesson plans and managing small group activities in literacy, numeracy, and play-based learning.
• Spiritual Mentorship: Model Christian values and support the spiritual development of students through daily prayer and classroom reflections.
• Classroom Management: Help maintain a clean, organized, and stimulating environment; assist with transitions between activities, recess, and lunch.
• Student Wellbeing: Provide emotional support and encouragement, helping children develop social skills and conflict-resolution strategies.
• Daily Logistics: Assist with administrative tasks, such as preparing materials, organizing folders, and supervising student safety during arrival and dismissal.

Qualifications & Skills

• Experience: Previous experience working with Pre-K or Kindergarten-aged children is strongly preferred.
• Heart for Service: A genuine love for early childhood education and a compassionate, patient demeanor.
• Collaboration: Ability to take direction well and work seamlessly with the lead teacher and school administration.
• Communication: Strong interpersonal skills to interact effectively with students, staff, and parents.
• Reliability: Highly organized with a strong work ethic and a "can-do" attitude.
