About the role
The Early Childcare Teacher is responsible for providing a nurturing and educational environment for children aged 3-5 years old.
Responsibilities
- Plan and implement age-appropriate curriculum activities
- Provide daily care and supervision of children
- Assist in maintaining a safe and healthy classroom environment
- Communicate regularly with parents about their child’s progress
- Participate in team meetings and professional development opportunities
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Early Childhood Education or related field
- Valid California Child Development Permit
- Experience working with children in a childcare setting
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Qualifications
- Strong commitment to early childhood education
- Ability to work flexible hours including evenings and weekends
- Passing background check and health clearance
Skills
- Effective communication and relationship-building skills
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize responsibilities
