About the role

Spend an unforgettable summer at Invesco alongside a select group of driven students in our 9-week Summer Internship Program, kicking off in June 2027. This internship offers hands-on experience, one-on-one mentorship, and insights into the fast-paced world of investments at a global investment firm. As part of the cohort, you’ll engage in orientation, networking events, development workshops, and volunteer activities while working alongside talented teams. Successful interns may be eligible for a full-time offer to join our Early Career Program after graduation.

Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams on assigned tasks and initiatives
  • Attend team meetings, complete assigned projects within established timelines, and present findings to management
  • Prepare presentations, summaries, and other materials for internal and external stakeholders
  • Seek feedback and guidance from mentors and team members to support learning and growth
  • Support the team in researching industry trends, financial statements, and market data
  • Participate in training sessions and networking opportunities to further develop technical and professional skills
  • Join regular team meetings to understand the top-down macro investment process and performance metrics, including interactions with portfolio managers, client portfolio managers, risk, and research teams
  • Build and maintain dashboards and reports (e.g., Power BI, Excel) to track key Capital Markets metrics and transform raw trading, holdings, and market data into clear insights for stakeholders
  • Learn how funds trade in primary and secondary markets, gaining exposure to both active and exchange-traded fund ecosystems
  • Research market structure and trading dynamics (liquidity, spreads, pricing efficiency) and understand their connection to Invesco’s business

Requirements

  • Currently enrolled in a bachelor’s degree program and be a rising Junior graduating by summer of 2028
  • Minimum GPA of 3.2 on a 4.0 scale
  • All majors are welcomed with an emphasis on Finance, Accounting, Mathematics, Stats, Economics, Computer Science, Engineering, Data Analytics, or Business-related fields
  • A demonstrated interest in investments
  • Must be able to work in Invesco’s Atlanta office
  • Must be authorized to work in the U.S. on a permanent basis. Invesco does not offer employment-based immigration sponsorship for this program and will not provide assistance or sign documentation for other forms of immigration sponsorship, including OPT or CPT

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience with creative problem solving and analytical thinking
  • Ability to prioritize work and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment
  • Strong communication skills and comfort translating data/analysis into clear takeaways for stakeholders
  • Highly detail-oriented with a sharp eye for accuracy and ownership of producing polished, error-free work
  • Prior internship in investment management (preferred but not required)
  • Experience gathering and interpreting market data (e.g., pricing, trading volumes) and drawing insights from it
  • Intermediate proficiency with Excel and familiarity with Python, SQL, Power BI, and Bloomberg Terminal

Pay

$40/hour

Schedule

Full-time, 9-week program beginning in June 2027. Employees are expected to comply with Invesco’s Workplace Policy, which includes spending at least four full days each week working in an Invesco office.
