About the role

This is a non-union position at Enbridge, where we are committed to delivering safe, reliable energy while driving financial excellence and innovation. We are seeking an Early Career Integrity Engineer to join our team and play a meaningful role in keeping our energy infrastructure safe and our communities protected.

Responsibilities

  • Carry out risk assessments to support risk-informed decision-making.
  • Use fit-for-purpose methods to identify and evaluate operational risks, including health and safety, operations, environment, reputation, and financial aspects.
  • Support collaborator requests, including problem definition, data collection, application of assessment techniques, and clear communication of results.
  • Collaborate with senior team members on continuous improvements of assessment tools and develop new techniques through researching relevant literature, performing feasibility studies, and building business cases for improvement ideas.
  • Communicate technical results effectively to department leadership and team members through presentations and written reports.
  • Develop and maintain processes, procedures, and work instructions, and contribute to value assessments for major investments through risk and benefit analysis.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in engineering from an ABET accredited program based on the accreditation year; preference is given to mechanical, civil, chemical, materials, petroleum, or other relevant engineering fields.
  • 2–4 years of relevant engineering experience.
  • Highly numerate, logical, and self-motivated with strong attention to detail.
  • Excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills.
  • Ability to prioritize competing demands and compile technical reports.

Qualifications

  • Must have a valid driver's license and the ability to travel within the state.
  • Maintain a responsible driving record.

Skills

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Effective communication and collaboration abilities.
  • Proficiency in relevant software tools.
