About the role

GZA GeoEnvironmental, Inc. (GZA) is seeking an Early Career Environmental Engineer/Scientist with 0-5 years of consulting experience to support our environmental due diligence, regulatory compliance, site investigation, and remediation practices in our Edina, MN office.

Responsibilities

  • Work with a fast-paced team of Scientists, Engineers, Project Managers, and Principals
  • Document field work with drilling teams, perform soil/groundwater/soil vapor sampling, monitor well installation and sampling
  • Review and analyze records and data
  • Prepare detailed and accurate field documentation, data analysis, and reports
  • Assist in projects and tasks outside of primary responsibilities

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Geology, Environmental Engineering/Science or related field (Master’s Degree a plus)
  • 0-5 years of related environmental consulting or other relevant experience
  • Strong attention to detail with excellent analytical capabilities
  • Ability to follow directions, work independently or in a team setting
  • Strong communication skills, problem solving, and organizational skills
  • Working knowledge of computers and Microsoft Office suite
  • Available to work Monday through Friday with occasional evenings and weekends
  • Valid driver’s license in good standing
  • 40-hour OSHA HAZWOPER and EIT or GIT certifications are a plus
  • EQuIS, CADD, ArcGIS, python are a plus

Pay

The base salary for this position may range between $60,000 - $100,000. The actual base salary and total compensation will depend on many factors, including location, candidate experience, education, professional licensure, and other qualifications.

Schedule

Monday through Friday with occasional evenings and weekends.
