Early Career Consult Program - Associate Visual Designer
About the role
As a Visual Designer, you will shape how Kyndryl shows up across key brand touchpoints by creating clear, compelling, and consistent visual experiences. You will translate business, customer, and brand requirements into high-quality design solutions that strengthen brand recognition, enhance communication, and support business goals. Working closely with marketing, communications, experience, and product teams, you will balance hands-on design execution with collaboration to deliver impactful visual assets across multiple channels.
Responsibilities
- Create visual assets for digital, social, web, print, presentation, and campaign needs.
- Translate briefs, content, and business objectives into engaging visual designs and layouts.
- Apply brand standards, design systems, and templates to ensure consistency across customer and internal touchpoints.
- Design graphics, mockups, high-fidelity screens, presentations, and other visual assets that support storytelling and business goals.
- Collaborate with writers, marketers, UX designers, developers, and stakeholders to deliver effective visual solutions.
- Adapt existing design systems and assets for new formats, platforms, and audiences.
- Use feedback, testing, and data insights to refine and improve designs.
- Prepare production-ready assets that meet quality, accessibility, and delivery requirements.

Requirements
Required Skills
- Portfolio demonstrates strong visual design work and individual contributions across multiple touchpoints.
- Strong foundation in typography, color, layout, composition, spacing, and visual hierarchy.
- Ability to translate business and user requirements into polished visual solutions.
- Proficiency with design tools such as Figma, Adobe Creative Cloud, Canva, or equivalent platforms.
- Early career experience applying brand guidelines, design systems, templates, and reusable components.
- Ability to maintain visual consistency across digital products, presentations, campaigns, and experiences.
- Understanding of user-centered design, usability, responsive design, and accessibility principles.
- Early career experience collaborating with cross-functional teams, including marketing, UX, content, and development.
- Ability to communicate design rationale and participate effectively in design reviews.
- Awareness of technical constraints and implementation considerations.
Preferred Skills
- Experience designing for enterprise, technology, or B2B audiences.
- Familiarity with accessibility standards and inclusive design practices.
- Experience supporting integrated campaigns across digital and physical environments.
- Experience creating executive presentations and visual storytelling materials.
- Exposure to design systems, customer experience initiatives, or product design environments.
- Experience using customer insights, testing, or analytics to inform design decisions.
Pay
The compensation range for the position in the U.S. is $63,360 to $114,120 based on a full-time schedule. Your actual compensation may vary depending on your geography, job-related skills, and experience. For part-time roles, the compensation will be adjusted appropriately. The pay or salary range will not be below any applicable state, city, or local minimum wage requirement.
- California (San Francisco Bay Area): $76,080 to $137,040
- California (All Other): $69,720 to $125,640
- Colorado: $63,360 to $114,120
- Massachusetts/Virginia: $63,360 to $125,640
- New York City: $76,080 to $137,040
- Washington: $69,720 to $125,640
- Washington DC: $69,720 to $125,640
This position will be eligible for Kyndryl’s discretionary annual bonus program, based on performance and subject to the terms of Kyndryl’s applicable plans. You may also receive a comprehensive benefits package which includes medical and dental coverage, disability, retirement benefits, paid leave, and paid time off. Note: If this is a sales commission eligible role, you will be eligible to participate in a sales commission plan in lieu of the annual discretionary bonus program.
