Early Care and Education Adjunct Instructor "Pool"
Job Responsibilities
Adjunct instructors may teach at the Lex D. Walters Campus and/or at one of the college’s six county centers located in Laurens, Newberry, Edgefield, Saluda, Abbeville, and McCormick. Opportunities may include daytime or evening classes, online instruction, and dual credit courses offered at local high schools.
Responsibilities include, but are not limited to, teaching a diverse student body in accordance with established syllabi at various locations, utilizing instructional technology, and applying a variety of effective teaching methods. Additional duties include planning, managing, and delivering course instruction; following all EPA and OSHA regulations that pertain to the program; participating in college functions as needed; and applying teaching practices that support the continuous improvement of both the program and the college.
Minimum And Additional Requirements
A master's degree in Early Childhood Education or Child Development is required, or a master's degree with at least 18 graduate semester hours in any combination of the qualifying fields.

CLERY Act Compliance Notice
