About the role

The Environmental Services (EVS) Staff Member will be expected to provide a clean and safe environment at all times while observing safe practices, infection control measures, customer service standards and departmental policies. This position is responsible for maintaining a clean environment in the surgical area.

Responsibilities

• Maintain a clean and safe environment in the surgical area
• Observe safe practices and infection control measures
• Adhere to customer service standards and departmental policies

Requirements

• A minimum of 1 year of EVS/Housekeeping experience is required
• Requires the ability to read, write, or understand the English language
• Ability to communicate effectively with patients, visitors and staff while performing housekeeping duties

Preferred Qualifications

• A minimum of 6 months previous OR support experience is preferred
• High School diploma or equivalent is preferred
