Job Summary

Veo seeks operations professionals who are passionate about providing riders with an excellent experience by maintaining our vehicles and continually improving the efficiency of our fleet operations. E-Scooter Delivery Drivers locate vehicles, swap batteries, rebalance scooters throughout the city, and perform quality checks and minor repairs. The ideal candidate will be a team player who enjoys solving problems, working with their hands, and staying active throughout the entire shift.

Shift Options

• Thursday–Sunday: 2:00 PM–10:30 PM
• Tuesday–Saturday: 7:00 PM–2:30 AM
• Sunday–Thursday: 12:00 AM–8:00 AM

Pay Rate

$19.00 per hour

Candidates must have reliable transportation to commute to and from the warehouse. A company van is provided during shifts to perform job duties. All candidates must live near the Charlottesville area and be able to commute to the warehouse location.

Responsibilities

• Follow instructions in the mobile app to complete shift tasks
• Drive a company van to locate scooters and swap batteries
• Rebalance scooters from low-demand to high-demand areas
• Perform basic repairs and quality checks
• Respond to on-demand requests to locate or retrieve scooters
• Complete other duties as assigned

Qualifications & Skills

• Must be at least 21 years old
• Valid driver's license and acceptable driving record
• Comfortable driving a company van
• Must have a smartphone and be comfortable using mobile apps
• Ability to lift scooters weighing up to 60 pounds without assistance
• Strong communication skills and attention to detail
• Self-motivated and able to work independently
