E/O Weekend 1st Shift (Sat & Sun) Caregiver

Maple Meadows Assisted Living is seeking a dedicated 1st Shift (7am-1pm) Caregiver to join our team every other weekend (Saturday and Sunday). About the Role

The Caregiver supports residents with activities of daily living, including personal hygiene, socialization, cognition, and physical health. You will encourage resident independence, support resident choice, and preserve resident dignity through professional conduct and interactions.

Responsibilities

• Exhibit a positive customer service attitude by being approachable, friendly, and willing to assist others.
• Display personal initiative to complete work without constant supervision.
• Demonstrate consistent work attendance as scheduled and address work-related problems with the proper individuals.
• Use communication skills that include careful listening, sensitivity to others’ thoughts and feelings, and giving thoughtful responses.
• Report information accurately and in a timely manner to appropriate personnel.
• Maintain confidentiality of both resident and staff information.
• Present a neat, clean appearance at all times.
• Participate in designated facility in-services.
• Help new staff learn job tasks and responsibilities.

Qualifications

• Prior direct care experience preferred.
• High school diploma or GED.
• Current CPR certification preferred.
• Must meet age requirements according to facility policy and state regulations.
