Responsibilities
- Responsible for the testing and maintenance of the instrument and electrical equipment of auxiliary equipment, turbines and other related facilities as assigned.
- Comply with all DOT, OSHA and Environmental rules and regulations.
- Occasionally required to do unscheduled or emergency work.
- Maintain all tools and equipment assigned to this position.
- Advocate for safe work practices and serve as the lead on projects.
- Work independently and make decisions about equipment.
- Participate in On Call duties and respond to “callouts”.
- Demonstrate proficiency in Leadership and Interpersonal Skills.
- Compliance documentation for assigned area and complete Operator Qualification tasks.
Requirements
- Instrument and Electrical maintenance experience.
- Excellent communication skills and ability to interact with all levels of personnel.
- Strong critical thinking and problem-solving skills.
- Strong ability for prioritizing and scheduling multiple projects.
- Experience with Microsoft programs.
- Ability to read, comprehend, and follow Company procedures and manufacturers’ guidelines.
- Physical requirements: ability to lift and carry 50 lbs., operate valve control wheels, and work alone in extreme weather conditions.
- Valid driver’s license with a good driving record and ability to operate an all-terrain vehicle.
- Strong commitment to personal and team safety.
Qualifications
- 4+ years of natural gas operations and maintenance experience.
- More than 3 years of experience on pipeline operating systems and DOT 192 knowledge.
- Associate degree or Certificate of Completion in Electrical or Electronics Technology from an Institution Accredited by one of the National Regional Accrediting Bodies.
- High School Diploma or Equivalent.
