E&I Specialist / Sr E&I Specialist

Responsibilities

• Responsible for the testing and maintenance of the instrument and electrical equipment of auxiliary equipment, turbines and other related facilities as assigned.
• Comply with all DOT, OSHA and Environmental rules and regulations.
• Occasionally required to do unscheduled or emergency work.
• Maintain all tools and equipment assigned to this position.
• Advocate for safe work practices and serve as the lead on projects.
• Work independently and make decisions about equipment.
• Participate in On Call duties and respond to “callouts”.
• Demonstrate proficiency in Leadership and Interpersonal Skills.
• Compliance documentation for assigned area and complete Operator Qualification tasks.

Requirements

• Instrument and Electrical maintenance experience.
• Excellent communication skills and ability to interact with all levels of personnel.
• Strong critical thinking and problem-solving skills.
• Strong ability for prioritizing and scheduling multiple projects.
• Experience with Microsoft programs.
• Ability to read, comprehend, and follow Company procedures and manufacturers’ guidelines.
• Physical requirements: ability to lift and carry 50 lbs., operate valve control wheels, and work alone in extreme weather conditions.
• Valid driver’s license with a good driving record and ability to operate an all-terrain vehicle.
• Strong commitment to personal and team safety.

Qualifications

• 4+ years of natural gas operations and maintenance experience.
• More than 3 years of experience on pipeline operating systems and DOT 192 knowledge.
• Associate degree or Certificate of Completion in Electrical or Electronics Technology from an Institution Accredited by one of the National Regional Accrediting Bodies.
• High School Diploma or Equivalent.
