Responsibilities
- Coordinate and provide direction for the construction efforts of the E/I subcontractor.
- Provide safety, scope, schedule, and planning direction to the E/I subcontractor for efficient and safe project execution.
- Achieve client satisfaction; create "Raving Fans" and repeat business opportunities.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Instrumentation Engineering, Construction Management, or related field preferred.
- Minimum 5+ years of experience in planning and executing construction projects in a heavy industrial environment.
- Able to perform or oversee estimating and scheduling efforts.
- Experience with safety compliance and regulatory permitting related to Electrical and Instrumentation worksites.
Skills
- Written communications skills
- Oral communications skills
- Proficient in MS Word, Excel, and Project
- Experience working in Procore software is a plus
- Able to plan and organize work activities
- Able to read and interpret P & IDs, electrical and instrumentation drawings and specs
- Able to audit the electrical & instrumentation work and identify any deficiencies and document on a punch list
- Able to identify and avoid or mitigate potential problems
