E/I Construction Manager

Responsibilities

• Coordinate and provide direction for the construction efforts of the E/I subcontractor.
• Provide safety, scope, schedule, and planning direction to the E/I subcontractor for efficient and safe project execution.
• Achieve client satisfaction; create "Raving Fans" and repeat business opportunities.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Instrumentation Engineering, Construction Management, or related field preferred.
• Minimum 5+ years of experience in planning and executing construction projects in a heavy industrial environment.
• Able to perform or oversee estimating and scheduling efforts.
• Experience with safety compliance and regulatory permitting related to Electrical and Instrumentation worksites.

Skills

• Written communications skills
• Oral communications skills
• Proficient in MS Word, Excel, and Project
• Experience working in Procore software is a plus
• Able to plan and organize work activities
• Able to read and interpret P & IDs, electrical and instrumentation drawings and specs
• Able to audit the electrical & instrumentation work and identify any deficiencies and document on a punch list
• Able to identify and avoid or mitigate potential problems
