E&D Scaffold Carpenter

About the Role

Supervise and direct up to three Foreman 1s, who oversee up to three Lead Carpenters, in erecting and dismantling scaffolding safely and efficiently. Ensure compliance with OSHA regulations and site safety standards as a competent person on site. Manage project aspects such as scheduling, cost control, and customer communication. Work safely at heights, utilizing knowledge of scaffolding materials and load capacities.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and direct Foreman 1s and Lead Carpenters in scaffolding erection and dismantling.
• Ensure compliance with OSHA regulations and site safety standards.
• Manage project scheduling, cost control, and customer communication.
• Work safely at heights, applying knowledge of scaffolding materials and load capacities.

Requirements

• High School Diploma or equivalent with a minimum of 5 years' combined experience in scaffolding roles or approved equivalent.
• Trade school preferred but not required.
• Valid driver’s license and project management skills.
• Ability to work safely at heights and perform physical tasks including bending, lifting (40+ lbs).

Skills

• Strong knowledge of OSHA scaffolding regulations and materials.
• Effective leadership, problem-solving, and communication skills.
• Physical ability to perform demanding tasks in various environments.
• Bilingual skills are a plus.
