E-Commerce Store Shopper

Responsibilities

• Shop multiple orders within a given time frame while ensuring the best product selection for customers.
• Handle, store, and label products correctly, arranging totes for easy access and proper delivery.
• Maintain great customer service throughout the order fulfillment process.
• Coordinate orders and delivery with the shopping manager.
• Work efficiently and at an acceptable pace, handling each picked transaction in an organized manner.
• Ensure each item picked is the finest and freshest the store has to offer.
• Master the store layout for efficient picking procedures.
• Reduce shrink and damage of merchandise through careful handling.
• Retrieve and fill customers’ orders accurately and on time.
• Properly handle and maintain all computer hardware.
• Notify the shopping manager of customer comments, complaints, security problems, incorrect prices, UPC code errors, or product issues (damages or out-of-stock items).
• Follow proper hand washing, sanitation, food storage, and handling procedures.
• Maintain a neat personal appearance, including proper uniform and dress code.
• Practice the “Cleaner’s Creed” and proper sanitation procedures.
• Ensure careful product handling and proper temperature storage of every product picked.
• Notify management of associate theft, customer shoplifting, unauthorized markdowns, or property defacement.
• Complete onboarding/e-learnings and checklist within 30 days of hire/entering the department.
• Perform other duties as assigned by management.

• Ability to read, write, speak, and understand English, with the ability to follow instructions.
• Ability to work a schedule based on the business needs of the store location.
• Authorized to work within the U.S.

• Adherence to the “Golden Rule” and collaboration with other associates to build a strong E-Commerce team.
• Work in a style that is Respectful, Supportive, and Totally Team Oriented (RSTO) to achieve high associate morale.

• Occasionally (1-33%): Sitting, pushing and pulling up to 250 lbs, climbing up to 8 feet, kneeling, and crouching.
• Frequently (34-66%): Carrying and lifting up to 50 lbs, bending, balancing, reaching at waist or overhead, and stooping.
• Continuously (67-100%): Standing or walking on tile or concrete, handling, fingering, feeling, talking, seeing, hearing, and smelling.

Safety Risk Factors

• Occasionally (1-33%): Loud noise, cluttered floor surface, contact with skin irritants, toxic exposure (see material safety data sheet), nuisance dust, fumes, sprays, and hazardous cleaning solutions.

• Continuously (67-100%): Hazardous equipment (mechanical moving parts).

Pay

The hiring range for this position is $15.00 - $17.90 per hour. Actual salaries will vary depending on factors including but not limited to education, experience, qualifications, and internal equity.
