About the role
Assist the Store e-Commerce manager in managing the day-to-day operation of the store's e-Commerce department. Demonstrate the company's core values of respect, honesty, integrity, diversity, inclusion and safety.
Responsibilities

- Based in Portland, Oregon, Fred Meyer merged with The Kroger Company in 1998. Today, we're proudly serving Fred Meyer customers in over 120 stores throughout Oregon, Washington, Idaho and Alaska.
- Work with team members to ensure they adhere to local, state and federal laws, food safety procedures and company guidelines.
- Manage the intake of customer orders and distribute and assign work to selectors and customer attendants.
- Print and distribute order labels, including orders for perishable departments.
- Troubleshoot e-Commerce equipment and devices.
- Maintain the level of supplies needed to perform necessary duties.
- Maintain organization and cleanliness of staging areas and equipment.
- Report pricing, scanning, item location discrepancies and invalid temperature types to the store e-Commerce manager.
- Perform required opening and closing procedures.
- Learn and implement process improvements as directed by division or enterprise e-Commerce team.
- Provide feedback on team members' daily performance and annual performance reviews.
- Work cooperatively in high-paced and sometimes stressful environments.
- Manage conflict in a reasonable, non-confrontational and cooperative manner.
- Act with honesty and integrity regarding customer and business information.
- Follow directions and seek assistance when necessary to resolve customer and business issues.
- Provide support and assistance through direct interaction with minors, individuals with special needs, and/or older adults.
Requirements
- Proven supervisory experience
- Basic knowledge of computers
- Excellent oral/written communication skills
- Basic math skills (i.e., counting, addition, and subtraction)
- Self-directed, ability to execute projects with minimal supervision
Desired
- Experience in a production-oriented environment or warehouse environment, stocking shelves, or cashier experience
- Meet/exceed customer expectations for ease of shopping, variety, freshness and cleanliness
- Ability to work cooperatively in high paced and sometimes stressful environment
- Ability to manage conflict in a reasonable, nonconfrontational and cooperative manner
- Ability to act with honesty and integrity regarding customer and business information
