E-commerce Merchandising Specialist

About the role

The E-commerce Merchandising Specialist is responsible for maintaining and merchandising products across Eco Battery's family of Shopify websites. This supporting role works under the direction of the E-commerce Manager and works closely with marketing, product management, engineering, customer service, and sales to ensure products are accurately represented, easy to shop, and optimized for conversion.

Responsibilities

• Build and maintain products, bundles, and collections within Shopify.
• Keep product information, pricing, and merchandising accurate and up to date.
• Maintain and merchandise both our consumer and dealer e-commerce experiences.
• Write and optimize product descriptions, meta titles, and other SEO content.
• Identify opportunities to improve internal linking across products, collections, and blogs.
• Monitor and manage customer product reviews, escalating issues when appropriate.
• Optimize site search, product recommendations, upsells, and cross-sells.
• Analyze website performance and recommend merchandising and conversion improvements.
• Aid with new product launches, promotional campaigns, and website updates.
• Collaborate with Marketing, Product Management, Sales, and Customer Support to deliver an exceptional online shopping experience.

Requirements

• 1–3 years of e-commerce, merchandising, marketing, or digital retail experience.
• Experience working with Shopify is preferred.
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Excellent written communication skills.
• Comfortable managing multiple projects simultaneously.
• Self-motivated with a willingness to learn new systems and technologies.
• Positive attitude and team-first mindset.

Qualifications

• Basic understanding of SEO and e-commerce best practices is a plus.
