About the Role

The E-Commerce Intern for Loro Piana North America will support the success and growth of Loro Piana’s online business by assisting the E-commerce Merchandising and Operations teams. This role involves creating and managing critical E-Commerce reporting, maintaining the E-Commerce Activation Calendar, collaborating with Operations on inventory and returns processes, and updating local merchandising initiatives on Loro Piana’s US and Canadian sites.

Responsibilities

  • Support the E-Commerce NA team across key functions: E-Commerce Merchandising, Operations, and Guest Services.
  • Assist in merchandise product ranking on the e-commerce website to optimize sales and conversion rates.
  • Support weekly reporting tasks, contributing to the analysis of key performance indicators and merchandising effectiveness.
  • Maintain and organize the merchandising section of the E-Commerce NA Activation Calendar.
  • Create trackers for monitoring performance across new product launches, store operations, transfers, and performance marketing campaigns.
  • Create and maintain templates for internal E-Commerce Bulletins.
  • Support the Guest Services Team with operational requirements, including order handling, warehouse returns, and inventory.
  • Manage Guest Delighting opportunities by partnering with Guest Services.
  • Develop a competitive brand monthly e-commerce activation report to track industry developments in Digital & E-Commerce.
  • Run ad-hoc analysis for E-Commerce site performance on a daily, weekly, or monthly basis as needed.
  • Monitor Global, US, and Canada site updates and provide feedback to NA and HQ teams.
  • Respond to ad-hoc team and client requests.

Requirements

  • Strong understanding of the digital space, including e-commerce, user experience, delivery experience, retail trends, and digital media.
  • Affinity for luxury, fashion, and leather goods, with knowledge of recent and long-term trends in the category.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, including copywriting and the ability to present information succinctly.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office tools, including Excel, Word, and PowerPoint for reports, presentations, and analysis.
  • Strong analytical skills, including proficiency in Excel and the ability to interpret key performance indicators.
  • Positive, collaborative, hands-on, and energetic attitude.

Pay

Loro Piana offers a market-competitive hourly salary range starting at $20 USD, with flexibility to recognize expertise, performance, and tenure.
