About the role
Select and gather products for customers' online orders efficiently with attention to freshness and quality. Assemble orders, process coupons and payment, and deliver and load orders to cars during customer pick-up. Provide a positive customer service experience that encourages repeat online shopping while demonstrating the company's core values of respect, honesty, integrity, diversity, inclusion, and safety.
Responsibilities
- Meet or exceed customer expectations for ease of shopping, variety, freshness, and cleanliness.
- Adhere to local, state, and federal laws, food safety procedures, and company guidelines.
- Receive customers’ orders from Order Selector and store products in optimal temperature zones.
- Initiate and complete the selection process for customers’ online orders.
- Read and follow directions provided in the note section of orders.
- Ensure quality and freshness of all items chosen.
- Communicate with customers via a portable phone and respond professionally and promptly.
- Retrieve each customer’s order from staging locations, verify accuracy, and load orders into customers' cars.
- Process orders through the point-of-sale (POS) system.
- Follow policies and procedures to determine appropriate substitutions for out-of-stock items.
- Scan and bag orders efficiently while adhering to all bagging standards.
- Communicate substitutions or exceptions to the customer at pick-up.
- Maintain organization and cleanliness of staging areas and equipment.
- Report pricing, scanning, item location discrepancies, and invalid temperature types to the e-Commerce supervisor.
- Inspect equipment and notify the e-Commerce supervisor or management of repair needs.
- Perform required opening and closing procedures.
- Learn and adapt to new and improved processes.
- Assist in training new e-Commerce team members.

Qualifications
- Minimum:
- Ability to work without supervision.
- Ability to read shelf tags.
- Excellent oral and written communication skills.
- Basic math skills (e.g., counting, addition, and subtraction).
- Desired:
- Experience in a production-oriented or warehouse environment.
- Experience stocking shelves or working as a cashier.
