About the role

Select and gather products for customers' online orders, ensuring freshness and quality. Assemble and process customers' online orders, handle payments, and deliver orders to customers.

Responsibilities

• Assemble and process customers' online orders, handling payments and delivering orders to customers.
• Communicate with customers via a portable phone and respond to calls professionally and promptly.
• Ensure order accuracy by retrieving and loading orders into customers' cars.
• Process orders through the point of sale (POS) system, following policies and procedures for substitutions and reporting discrepancies.
• Communicate substitutions or exceptions to customers' orders at the time of pick-up.
• Inspect equipment and report any issues to the store e-Commerce supervisor.
• Assist in training new e-Commerce team members.

Requirements

• Ability to work without supervision.
• Excellent oral and written communication skills.
• Basic math skills (counting, addition, subtraction).
• Minimum ability to read shelf tags.
• Desired experience in a production-oriented or warehouse environment, such as stocking shelves or cashiering.
• Meet/exceed customer expectations for ease of shopping, variety, freshness, and cleanliness.
• Adhere to local, state, and federal laws, food safety procedures, and company guidelines.
• Meet/exceed productivity standards.
• Ability to work cooperatively in a high-paced and sometimes stressful environment.
• Ability to manage conflict in a reasonable, non-confrontational, and cooperative manner.
