About the role

This position can be remote within Western Iowa, Northeast Nebraska and South Dakota.

Responsibilities

  • Assist Division Seed Sales Representatives in their seed selling efforts (field days, ride along, grower meetings, post-harvest meetings, etc.)
  • Strengthen customer business plans, profitably and sustainably initiatives
  • Manage and compile data including plot data, seed matrix, etc. to field in Marketing format
  • Evaluate product including building product knowledge set, sharing local observations with product development team, and be the expert on Dyna-Gro Products
  • Follow-up with Customer Service Inquiries and support field problems
  • Coordinate 3rd Party testing and assist in product selection for yield and demo plots
  • Develop Agronomic Bulletins, Product Guides, Tech Sheets and Agronomic support materials
  • Perform other duties as assigned

Requirements

  • University Degree in Agronomy, Soils, Ag Business or other ag-related degree preferred
  • 3+ years of experience in Ag industry; understanding standard concepts, practices, and procedures within the agriculture industry, as well as the application of agricultural chemicals and development of agronomy plans
  • Knowledgeable on standard concepts, practices, and procedures within the seed
  • Certified Crop Advisor or ability to become certified preferred
  • Proficiency in computer programs such as Microsoft Word, Excel, etc.
