Yorkshire Animal Hospital has served the pets and their owners of Affton, Crestwood, Webster Groves, and the surrounding communities since 1956. The hospital has upgraded its diagnostic equipment, including ultrasound, dental x-ray capabilities, and more. As the practice grows, Yorkshire Animal Hospital aims to offer advanced diagnostic and treatment protocols to enhance the quality of care for companion animals.
Position Purpose
Heartland Veterinary Partners' Externship Program offers hands-on experience and mentorship to veterinary students, helping them prepare for their first day in practice. Externships are typically 2 weeks long, and Heartland covers the cost of lodging if needed. The length of the externship is flexible, and the program supports preceptorship documentation.
Requirements/Qualifications
- Must be currently enrolled in an AVMA Accredited Veterinary School
- Must be able to provide student PLIT
