The veterinarians and staff of Winchester Pet Care have been working to keep pets healthy and happy since 1992. We offer a range of services including routine vet care, boarding, and daycare.

Position Purpose

Heartland Veterinary Partners' Externship Program provides 1st-4th year veterinary students with hands-on experience and mentorship to prepare them for practice. Externships are typically 2 weeks long and Heartland covers the cost of lodging if needed. The length of the externship is flexible and we support preceptorship documentation.

Requirements/Qualifications

• Must be currently enrolled in an AVMA Accredited Veterinary School
• Must be able to provide student PLIT
