Spelts and Masters Veterinary Clinic offers a wide range of veterinary services for both small and large animals. From routine check-ups to emergency care, our experienced veterinarians are here to provide the best possible treatment for pets of all kinds.

Position Purpose

Heartland Veterinary Partners' Externship Program works to provide veterinary students with hands-on experience and mentorship to help have them 'practice ready' by their first day in practice. Externships are typically 2 weeks long and Heartland will cover the cost of lodging if needed. The length of the externship is flexible and we can support your preceptorship documentation as well.

Requirements/Qualifications

• Must be currently enrolled in an AVMA Accredited Veterinary School
• Must be able to provide student PLIT
